Job Title: Commercial Account Executive Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid – 1–2 day onsite) Job Type: Direct Hire Salary: $90,000–$110,000 Base Variable Compensation (DOE) Key Responsibilities Manage and retain a commercial insurance book of business valued at over $1 million in annual revenue. Lead the renewal process beginning approximately 150 day prior to policy expiration. Review insurance quotes, coverage options, and renewal proposals to ensure clients receive appropriate solutions. Present renewal strategies and policy recommendations to commercial clients. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through proactive account management. Partner with Producers, carriers, and internal service teams to deliver high-quality client service. Coordinate policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and claims support. Resolve client issues while ensuring timely and accurate service delivery. Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through additional coverages and cross-selling. Conduct policy reviews and compliance audits to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices. Maintain accurate client records and policy information within agency management systems. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience (or 10 years with a High School Diploma/GED). Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License. Experience managing a commercial book of business valued at $1M in annual revenue. Previous experience as a Commercial Account Executive or Commercial Account Manager. Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policy structures, and renewal strategies. Excellent client relationship management and presentation. Strong verbal and written communication. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency with MS Office and agency management systems. This is a direct hire opportunity.
