Accountant fluent in French & English (Belval)

 

Our client is a growing international PSF with great development perspectives in Luxembourg.

The company has flexibility in their DNA and offers a great work environment. Their offices are located in Belval and have available parking for the team.

The team is looking to add an additional Accountant to their team dedicated to one very important client of the firm.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial statements
  • Maintaining accounting records and work papers
  • Preparation of local regulatory filings, including Solvency II statements
  • Managing client communications
  • Co-ordination of the audit of client companies
  • Preparing for and attending Board of Director meetings
  • Liaising with the Luxembourg insurance regulator (CAA)

Your Profile:

  • Accounting degree or equivalent qualification
  • 1 - 3+ years of experience in accounting
  • Experience gained in a financial service provider (fiduciary) or a commercial company is ideal
  • Profile with audit background are also welcome to apply, if they want to work in accounting
  • Fluency in both French and English is a must. Profiles who are fluent in French with an intermediate level in English are welcome to apply as well. Candidates who are not fluent in French will not be considered.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment where time management and prioritization skills are essential
  • Team player who can also work autonomously.
  • Prior experience and knowledge of local Luxembourg regulatory filing system and process is an asset. Experience in Luxembourg is an asset, but not a must.
