Job Description

We’re currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our clients dedicated and driven team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This is a permanent opportunity that offers autonomy and flexibility within a supportive and cohesive office environment.  

Key Responsibilities for the Job: 

  • Processing accounts payable invoices
  • Coding invoices
  • Processing EFTs and cheque runs
  • Wire transfers
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Daily cashflow monitoring and management
  • Expense processing
  • Vendor account reconciliations
  • General support to the accounting department
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience & Attributes for Success: 

  • Post-secondary education in accounting or business; or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ accounting experience with a focus on AP functions
  • Ability to work in a high volume environment while maintaining accuracy and diligence
  • Highly organized and focused work ethic
  • Efficient and effective time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop professional relationships
  • Adaptable and flexible with a positive and personable demeanour
