Air Import Agent

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading global logistics company. We are now hiring Air Import Agent who are team players, versatile, and dependable! Air Import Agent Job Summary o Working Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm with 1 Hour Lunch o Salary Range: $23-25/Hr (with experience) $21-22/Hr (no experience) Air Import Agent Responsibilities o Prepare and process import air import documentation, including customs paperwork, commercial invoices, and packing lists. o Confirm shipment arrivals, check pre-alerts, and correct discrepancies o Coordinate with airlines, truckers, warehouses, and custom brokers to ensure smooth cargo movement o Arrange deliveries, including monitoring customs clearance status o Track and trace shipment and provide timely updates to customers o POD Entry o Issue billing invoices, process subcontractor payments, and follow up on accounts receivable o Provide customer service, including handling inquiries and maintaining professional communication o General administrative task, including filing, data entry, and generating delivery orders o Document and report irregularities and escalate service issues to management when needed Air Import Agent Requirements o Prepare and process import air import documentation, including customs paperwork, commercial invoices, and packing lists. o Confirm shipment arrivals, check pre-alerts, and correct discrepancies o Coordinate with airlines, truckers, warehouses, and custom brokers to ensure smooth cargo movement o Arrange deliveries, including monitoring customs clearance status o Track and trace shipment and provide timely updates to customers o POD Entry o Issue billing invoices, process subcontractor payments, and follow up on accounts receivable o Provide customer service, including handling inquiries and maintaining professional communication o General administrative task, including filing, data entry, and generating delivery orders Why PROMAN Staffing? • Friendly, Knowledgeable Staff • Direct Deposit Programs • Referral bonus • Weekly Pay • Insurance and 401(k) Programs PROMAN Staffing’s goal is to create great talent experience to ensure successful employment for our employees to reach their full potential.
