About the role
We’re looking for an Area Manager to join our team and play a key role in managing and growing relationships with our strategic retail partners. If you’re passionate about driving sales growth, delivering impactful training, and building strong partnerships, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities:
- Partner & Store Relationship Management: Build and strengthen relationships with regional and store managers, owners, and sales teams across your territory.
- Training & Compliance: Deliver structured training to enhance product confidence, selling capability, and responsible finance practices. Ensure compliance with Latitude’s policies and responsible lending obligations.
- Sales Growth: Drive business sales goals and targets through collaboration, coaching, and identifying sales opportunities.
- Retailer Insight: Develop a deep understanding of retailer operations, tailoring support to meet their goals and challenges.
- Partner Support: Provide responsive servicing support to retail partners, resolving queries and troubleshooting issues.
- Execution Excellence: Ensure stores are equipped with up-to-date POS finance collateral and promotional materials and support national/local campaigns.
- Reporting & Territory Management: Maintain accurate reporting on store engagement, training status, and performance trends, using data insights to prioritise actions.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in partner management, operations, or commercial support within retail, financial services, payments, or franchise networks.
- Strong understanding of POS finance processes, including onboarding, pricing, applications, settlements, and compliance.
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage a large portfolio (~150 SMB partners) with accuracy and prioritisation.
- Experience with CRM and contract/order management systems, ensuring data integrity.
- Proven ability to deliver compliance-led activities, such as training and governance inputs.
- Analytical skills to leverage dashboards, KPIs, and insights for decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to drive accountability across teams.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A continuous improvement mindset to identify inefficiencies and scale processes effectively.
- Team leadership or coaching experience (advantageous but not essential).
