Client: Entertainment Provider Title: Business Affairs Consultant Duration: 05 Months (Potential Extension/Conversion based on performance and requirements) Schedule: Burbank, CA 91502 - Onsite Hours: 9 am to 6 pm Pacific Pay Range: $(170 - 180) on an hourly basis Description: We are seeking an experienced Business Affairs Attorney to support the negotiation and management of legal agreements for original television content. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the entertainment industry, working with a streaming platform, television network, studio, production company, or entertainment law firm. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school. 8 years of experience in entertainment law or business affairs. Proven experience negotiating content and talent agreements for television, film, or streaming platforms. Strong contract drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Responsibilities: Negotiate, draft, and manage development, production, licensing, and talent agreements for original content. Partner with Creative, Production, Finance, Marketing, and Legal teams throughout the content lifecycle. Oversee above-the-line agreements, underlying rights, and production documentation. Advise internal stakeholders on deal terms, production issues, and contractual obligations. Ensure compliance with company policies and evolving entertainment industry standards.
