Receives payments due the City and maintains related accounts; assists the public with questions regarding bills, fines, and tickets; performs related work as required.
High School Diploma or GED.
Six (6) months of experience involving customer service, data entry and/ or general office work.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in utility billing and payment processing.
Experience using technician databases such as BS&A or comparable financial Management Information Systems (MIS) applications or programs.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
