Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE)

The Role

As a Client Manager / Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as their key point of contact for all accounting, tax, and advisory matters
• Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax returns, ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and tax legislation
• Supervising and mentoring junior staff, providing guidance and reviewing work to maintain high standards
• Identifying advisory opportunities, offering clients strategic advice on tax planning, business growth, and financial structuring
• Supporting the firm’s business development initiatives, contributing to networking and client acquisition efforts
• Keeping up to date with industry and regulatory changes, ensuring the firm and its clients remain compliant and informed

The Ideal Candidate

To excel in this role, you should have:

ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
Proven experience in a client-facing role within an accountancy practice
Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations
Leadership skills, with experience supervising, mentoring, and developing junior staff
The ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively
A proactive approach to problem-solving and client advisory
