Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Clinical Trial Budget Manager for a position with a Pharmaceutical Company located in Ridgefield, CT. This is a 3 month contract opportunity. The Clinical Trial Budget Manager is responsible for ensuring that clinical trial site budgets are of high quality and that allocations are within fair market values. This role involves the development and maintenance of the Sites Fee Framework, as well as the timely and accurate coordination, processing, monitoring, and administration of payments to sites according to budget and terms. Responsibilities: Ensure clinical trial site budgets are high quality and within fair market values (FMV) by analyzing protocol flowcharts to create costing and payment strategies Drive the development and maintenance of the Site Fee Framework Set up year-end accruals and develop plausibility checks Coordinate, process, monitor, and administer payments (invoice and visits) in accordance with agreed terms of Contracts and Budget Exhibits Set up, close, re-open, and submit payments within all grants Effectively use budget-specific and trial metrics and tools to report on, provide visibility into, and analyze performance and deliverables Maintain a focused continuous improvement culture by identifying and executing strategies to enhance operational effectiveness Remain current with industry standards, trends, and competitive intelligence on budget best practices Interface across Medical, all TAs, Finance, Legal, and external parties Support contract managers in developing negotiation strategies for site budgets Requirements: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant business experience in the regulated pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry Strong clinical background and budgeting understanding of cost drivers and benchmarks for clinical site budgets Ability to think strategically and initiate strong and persuasive contractual arguments Proven track record in setting priorities, organization, and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service skills and high attention to detail Demonstrated analytical skills and critical thinking to resolve complex issues Experience with systems and applications related to clinical and/or project management planning and reporting Excellent knowledge of computer applications (Excel, Word, Access) Experience with Veeva and grant planning is required Pay range: up to $57.14 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
