Job Details Responsibilities Lead and manage all financial functions of the company, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with business goals. Serve as the primary financial liaison between the Finance Department and corporate officers, providing strategic insight to support executive decisions. Present monthly financial performance, forecasts, and variance analyses to the COO and President. Partner with our international subsidiary's Finance Manager on timely monthly close and reporting, and consolidate entity results into global roll-up presentations. Support long-term planning around capital investment, cost control, and operational improvements. Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, and ensure the integrity of the general ledger and supporting schedules. Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting while strengthening internal controls and procedures. Ensure timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Serve as the internal owner of NetSuite for financial reporting, including chart of accounts, segments, classifications, approval workflows, and coordination with external support partners. Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting. Monitor performance against budget, perform variance analysis, and recommend corrective action. Build financial models that support operational and strategic initiatives. Oversee tax compliance with external CPA firms and coordinate external audits and reviews. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and internal corporate policies, creating new policies and procedures where needed. Partner with operations to analyze production costs, inventory levels, and margin performance. Support inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance tracking, and recommend efficiency improvements. Provide financial insight into purchasing, production planning, and capital expenditures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience overseeing full-cycle accounting operations. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Experience with cost accounting and inventory management in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with multi-entity or corporate reporting environments. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; NetSuite experience strongly preferred. Proven leadership and supervisory experience, and comfort presenting financial data to executive leadership.
