The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Product Management Team, the Associate Director will be responsible for business management activity associated with DTC's Corporate Actions product such as business planning, business development and transformation activities within the Corporate Actions product. This includes proactively managing positive relationships with business partners and collaborators throughout the organization. In addition, the Product Management Associate Director will also manage projects and work closely with other members of the department, the development team(s), Enterprise Services, clients, and industry groups. 

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Track and manage Corporate Actions transformation initiative deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver on future state product and service capabilities 
  • Annual business planning, volume, revenue forecasts and pricing reviews
  • Support the product life cycle by defining business requirements, supporting testing, and driving the launch and maintenance of new and transformed systems and applications
  • Manage the agent billing for all Asset Services Research & Exception Processing Fees
  • Maintain regular dialogue with Operations and Technology staff, including bi-weekly review meetings
  • Liaise with Legal, Risk, EAS, and other areas to address issues as they arise
  • Contribute to customer facing and internal project-specific communications (Important Notices, FAQs, press releases, newsletter articles, fact sheets)
  • Update and maintain all customer facing web content for Distributions & Redemptions
  • Conduct directed research and analysis to support environmental assessment including macro-economic trends, regulatory landscape, legal / legislative changes, customer behavior / preference shifts, etc. 
  • Conduct analysis of the customer satisfaction survey to measure, monitor and report on customer satisfaction 
  • Create Business Case documentation in accordance with partners 
  • Create business requirements and attend grooming sessions to impart expertise with squad members
  • Identify potential risks to achieving project objectives and elevates to Director, or ED when not quickly resolved
  • Mitigate risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience in Corporate Actions, preferably Distributions and/or Redemptions
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience

  • Present information clearly in writing and orally in larger group settings
  • Convince others on key topics by presenting persuasive arguments and alternative approaches
