A world-renowned leader in heavy machinery and industrial manufacturing is seeking a proactive Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This environment offers exposure to global operations, complex costing structures, inventory processes and high-value assets. You’ll be joining a team that values continuous learning, problem-solving and collaboration across supply chain, production and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full financial accounting including general ledger, journals and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial packs, commentary and variance analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis activities
• Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure strong asset control
• Oversee inventory accounting, stock adjustments and costing accuracy
• Complete VAT and statutory submissions within required deadlines
• Support internal and external audits and ensure SOX/internal control compliance
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiencies
• Act as a key finance partner to operations and supply chain teams 

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BCom Accounting (essential)
• 3–6 years’ experience in financial accounting (manufacturing/industrial ideal)
• Strong understanding of inventory, costing and CapEx processes
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience (SAP highly beneficial)
• Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and operational teams
