Introduction

A leading manufacturing group, comprising 7 factories, 4 factory shops, an Export Division, and a Support Centre, are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Manager to join its Finance team. Reporting to the Group Financial Manager, the successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the Finance Department, supporting operational management across the Group, and ensuring the delivery of accurate financial information, reporting, costing, budgeting, and year-end financial processes. Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.
Support the Group Financial Manager in all financial and strategic initiatives.
Provide financial support to factories and operational management teams.
Manage monthly costing processes, including month-end costing runs.
Review and distribute monthly Management Accounts.
Oversee month-end, interim, and year-end journals and reporting requirements.
Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the Finance team.
Coordinate monthly financial calendars and reporting deadlines.
Prepare interim and year-end planning schedules and audit files.
Manage stock count planning, execution, reconciliations, and auditor requirements across all locations.
Consolidate budgets for Board approval and monitor budget implementation.
Verify SAP financial uploads and ensure data integrity.
Assist with Group consolidations and annual financial statement preparation.
Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, policies, and internal controls.
Drive continuous improvement within finance processes and reporting systems.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

CA (SA) preferable or BCom Degree in Accounting.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience managing finance teams and month-end reporting processes.
SAP experience is essential.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
