Fund Accounting Support - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Fund Accounting Support for a hybrid contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 6 month contract opportunity. Compensation: $33.71 per hour, W2 Position Overview: This role involves providing accounting and trading support for financial funds. The ideal candidate will review complex documents for compliance, track fund data and trades, and identify process improvements within a financial services environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide accounting and trading support activities for funds of moderate complexity Perform reviews of moderately complex documents to confirm compliance with established processes and procedures Track fund data and trades Maintain records of moderate complexity in accordance with department policies and procedures Search for fail points in processes and draft error reports for clients Primary Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and sound judgment when researching issues, identifying root causes, and resolving operational challenges. Able to effectively multitask, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver accurate work in a high-volume environment. Brings a curious, adaptable, and proactive approach to learning, process improvement, and collaboration across teams. Desired Skills: Bachelor's degree Mutual Fund experience Prior Financial services experience Experience in financial services, operations, or accounting-related support roles. Familiarity with reconciliation or transaction-based operational processes.
