SENIOR TAX BUSINESS SERVICES ACCOUNTANT - CENTRAL QUEENSLAND – REGIONAL FIRM -$90K-$120K+SUPER (Job ID 649)

This role offers the opportunity to lead a tax/business services team, working closely with partners and mentoring Junior Accountants whilst servicing diverse clients, including SMEs, farming and mining businesses. 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 5+ years’ experience in an Australian CA or CPA firm and proficiency in Xero, MYOB and Intuit; CA or CPA completion is preferred.

INTERMEDIATE TAX BUSINESS SERVICES ACCOUNTANT – MACKAY – LONG-ESTABLISHED FIRM - $70K TO $90K + SUPER (Job ID 650) 

• Are you an experienced Tax Accountant with 3+ years in Australian public practice? 
• Interested in joining a reputable firm with a strong local presence and lasting client relationships? 
• Ready to work on a variety of accounting projects, delivering a quality service to North Queensland clients? 

Our client is a well-established accounting firm with a strong reputation in the Mackay community and central QLD region offering deep expertise in tax and business services. 

This full-time role supports Senior Accountants and Partners in servicing a diverse business client base, including SMEs, farming and mining sector, with responsibilities such as preparing BAS statements, financials, tax compliance and etc. 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 3+ years’ experience in an Australian CA or CPA firm and proficiency in Xero, MYOB and Intuit; CA or CPA completion or current enrolment is preferred.
