Job Details Location: Seguin Texas Work Arrangement: Onsite, 5 days per week Industry: Manufacturing Position Overview An industry-leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to support the opening of a new facility. This role will focus on inventory accuracy, cost accounting, ERP system management, and financial reporting to ensure effective inventory valuation and cost control. The ideal candidate brings a strong manufacturing background, analytical skills, and experience utilizing ERP systems to support inventory and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory control processes, ensuring accurate inventory records, valuations, reconciliations, and reporting. Perform cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, material costing, and inventory valuation. Monitor raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods inventory to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies. Utilize ERP systems to manage inventory transactions, costing data, reporting, and system accuracy. Coordinate and oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits. Partner with Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, and Production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve inventory processes. Assist in establishing inventory procedures, internal controls, and reporting processes for the new facility. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. Experience in inventory control, cost accounting, or inventory accounting within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of inventory valuation, standard costing, and cost variance analysis. Hands-on experience with ERP systems; Epicor experience strongly preferred but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, inventory reporting, and data analysis. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a growing operation.
