Job Summary

Responsible for managing a team to perform the accounting, consolidating and reporting activities for the Airtron and coordination of accounting close activities of all Airtron divisions.  This includes closing the divisions in Microsoft Dynamics-Solomon system and exporting to SAP S4.

Essential Duties\Responsibilities

• Manage a team to perform monthly accounting close on a fiscal calendar timeline
• Coordinate division accounting close activities
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process within a condensed time frame
• Perform analytical functions necessary to achieve an accurate and timely general ledger month-end close.  Duties include analysis of income statement, balance sheet and equity transactions, financial statements and general accounting support
• Manage the analysis of reviewing projects through WIP and percentage of completion accounting
• Assist in researching reporting matters, accounting principles and financial reporting rules
• Utilize financial reporting software to create, maintain and update reporting templates and data queries
• Respond to ad hoc requests from key stakeholders within the organization
• Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned
• Perform all aspects of work with a high degree of effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy

Work Enviroment

• Hybrid work schedule; a combination of working remotely from home and 3-4 days a week in the office

Minimum Requirements

• Undergraduate degree from an accredited four (4) year college/university with a major in Accounting, Finance, or other related discipline 
• Five (5) years of full-time accounting experience 

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Microsoft Dynamics-Solomon

• Proficient with Microsoft applications
• Adapts effectively to new and changing environments
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external customers
