Job Details We are currently seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in our company's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for our union and non-union workforce in a shared services environment. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage payroll operations for the US and Canada, ensuring all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports. Process accurate and timely year-end reporting. Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed. Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors. Participate in special projects as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a payroll department, with a strong focus on union environments and prevailing wage compliance. Working knowledge of US and Canadian Payroll compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP Software. Strong analytical ability to understand and interpret payroll data. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
