Payroll Specialist - On-Site - $70k-$80k

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to take ownership of full-cycle, multi-state union and non-union payroll. This is a highly visible role where you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and year-end reporting while using ADP WFN. Client Details Our client is a well-known, family-owned food manufacturing company with operations across the globe. In this hands-on role, you'll be at the center of a critical payroll function, managing end-to-end payroll processing for a large workforce using ADP Workforce Now. You'll ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on time, oversee timesheet audits, employee changes, direct deposits, bonuses, commissions, and statutory deductions, while serving as a trusted resource for employee and management inquiries. This position reports into the Regional Controller and will work closely with HR, Accounting, and Operations. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of full-cycle payroll experience, including extensive experience with union and multi-state payroll processing. Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred. This position is five days a week on-site in Jersey City. Parking is offered and it is also extremely accessible by public transport. Description Own a high-volume payroll process from start to finish. Partner across the organization to support employees, managers, and multiple operating locations on payroll-related matters. Drive reporting, compliance, and financial accuracy by preparing payroll audits, generating HR and operational reports, and coordinating payroll funding requirements.
