This position will be responsible for hands-on accounting activities across multiple entities and programs, including month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit support. Mission-driven organization making a meaningful impact in the Los Angeles community 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off Strong work-life balance Medical, dental, and vision coverage Generous PTO and paid holidays 403(b) retirement plan with company match Employee Assistance Program Additional wellness and insurance benefits Job Details Responsibilities Prepare and maintain financial records, including assets, liabilities, revenue, expenses, and other financial activity Perform monthly account and balance sheet reconciliations and related financial analysis Handle month-end closing responsibilities and prepare journal entries Prepare and maintain financial records and schedules for the annual audit Work directly with auditors during the audit process Reconcile interfund and intercompany activity between entities Support budgeting and financial analysis Oversee accurate batching and processing of weekly check requests Assist with AP, AR, and other general accounting functions as needed Support the Finance team with additional accounting projects and responsibilities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required 3 years of relevant accounting experience Strong month-end close and reconciliation experience NetSuite experience required Budgeting experience required Experience with accounting/ERP systems Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Interested in hearing more?
