This exciting role will offer you the opportunity to showcase your exceptional accounting skills and play a significant role in our financial operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial statements while adhering to GAAP standards. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Senior Accountant, you will be an integral part of our finance team. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Preparing and reviewing financial statements in compliance with GAAP. 2. Performing complex account reconciliations and intercompany transactions. 3. Managing the general ledger and ensuring its accuracy and completeness. 4. Assisting with financial reporting and analysis, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. 5. Utilizing Deltek Costpoint and Cognos for financial management and reporting. 6. Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial processes and procedures. 7. Assisting with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. 8. Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency. 9. Staying current with industry trends, regulations, and GAAP guidelines. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Accountant position will have the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the engineering industry. 3. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger, complex account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions. 4. Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint and Cognos. 5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 8. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 9. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently. 10. CPA certification is preferred but not required.
