Senior Accountant

Job Overview: Pay Range: $59.70hr - $64.70hr Requirement/Must Have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in corporate accounting, financial reporting, or consolidation. Strong understanding of US GAAP. Strong understanding of month-end and quarter-end close processes. Strong understanding of journal entries and account reconciliations. Strong understanding of financial statement preparation. Strong understanding of intercompany accounting and consolidations. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical abilities. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Responsibilities: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve reconciling items. Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliation activities. Support consolidation processes, including elimination entries and financial statement preparation. Prepare financial analyses, variance explanations, and management reporting schedules. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and regional accounting teams. Assist with external and internal audit requests and provide supporting documentation. Help maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls. Provide backup support for critical close activities and other ad hoc accounting projects as needed. Nice to Have: CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Experience working in a multinational company with multiple legal entities and foreign currencies. Experience with consolidation and reporting tools such as Tagetik, SAP S/4HANA and Group Reporting, Hyperion, or OneStream.
