About the role:
The role will vary based on experience and career goals, and generally includes:
- Preparing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS lodgements
- Assisting with tax planning and compliance for a range of clients
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients across various industries
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members (Senior into Supervisor level)
- Planning, allocating, and managing workflow for client jobs
- Managing budgets, deadlines, and ensuring quality control
- Working closely with Partners to deliver client solutions
Skills and Experience - 3+ years of experience in a public practice or accounting environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both with clients and within a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and problem-solve proactively
- Team-focused attitude with a confident and professional approach
- Experience with Xero and MYOB; APS knowledge desirable
- CA/CPA qualified or actively completing the program
- Degree in Accounting, Business, or Commerce
