The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of the Group’s monthly and annual financial results, working closely with and reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Additionally, they will assist in presenting and critically analyzing key financial and commercial matters arising from the Group’s operational results and financial position, contributing to strategic decision-making.

Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and finalize the consolidated monthly management accounts in accordance with IFRS, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement and detailed schedules and sub-schedules.
- Review individual entity-level GL & TB and finalize monthly and annual financial statements of all group companies, working alongside the respective junior finance managers.
- Prepare and finalize quarterly and half-yearly cash flow forecasts to assist senior management in critical decision-making processes.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of relevant IFRS standards within the team, with ownership of Group and Subsidiary accounting policies.
- Draft and finalize board packs and manage reporting to lenders, investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Prepare and finalize VAT, Corporate Tax and other related filings and submissions on a timely basis across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assist with tax planning and structuring activities.
- Independently manage and complete annual statutory audit of all group entities, along with completion of all necessary legal compliance procedures, within stipulated timelines.
- Lead and assume key user status with the implementation of the new ERP / integrated accounting system.
- Develop and document a strong internal control framework to support the present and planned growth objectives of the Group.
Position Requirements
- Chartered Accountant with 10-12 years post-qualification experience, having trained for a considerable period of time with a reputable accounting firm, in an IFRS reporting environment.
- Experience of implementing/working extensively with ERP packages such as MS Dynamics, SAP, Oracle etc.
- Experience with commodity trading or a commodity-related industry is not essential but would be preferred.
- Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and critically.
- Proactive problem solver and effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Strong motivator and an ability to manage a team of accountants and finance managers.
