Description

With the rapid development of its IT services and products, ELCA group is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to strengthen its FP&A team and act as a Finance Business Partner for several business units. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, budgeting and forecasting for selected business units of the Group, ensuring robust, realistic and thoroughly reviewed financial plans.
  • Analyzing performance vs. budget, forecast and prior-year results, identifying key variances, explaining underlying drivers and proactively proposing improvement measures.
  • Monitoring and interpreting KPIs, in particular those related to IT services and solutions, and investigating any unexpected trends or deviations.
  • Acting as a Finance Business Partner for business unit management, building strong relationships, challenging assumptions and supporting decision-making.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly and quarterly financial reports for business units, translating figures into clear, actionable insights for management.
  • Supporting operations and management with ad hoc analysis, business cases and scenario modelling to guide key strategic decisions.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our ERP and reporting landscape, by optimizing processes, tools and data flows in collaboration with Finance and IT.
  • This role may require some travel within Switzerland to meet and work closely with business unit management and strengthen partnerships.

 

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a finance role (FP&A, controlling, business partnering or equivalent) within an international environment.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis, and KPI dashboards, ideally supporting business unit or divisional management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with different management levels and challenge constructively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, prioritize under time pressure and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, combined with the ability to maintain a clear view of the big picture and business impacts.
  • Genuine interest in the IT and Services industry and willingness to understand the operational reality behind the figures.
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, queries or other data management / visualization tools is a strong plus.
  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
