The client are a rapidly growing technology, SaaS, new media and internet business that are looking for a new leader of the FPandA function in the US. the successful candidate will work in the San Francisco (CA) office and will have a wealth of growth opportunities. Client Details The business are an embedded software company that assists with the day-to-day operations of global legal firms. They are a fast growing and established brand in the industry, have HQ based in Australia, whilst also having a large presence here in the US (San Francisco and NYC). This role will report directly into the Global Head of FPandA (based in Aus) and the successful candidate will lead the FPandA function for one of the US entities. There are a wealth of growth opportunities here, as well as potential international mobility down the line. Description The successful Senior FPandA Analyst will: Lead the FPandA function for the North American entity Mainly focused on the monthly close and reporting process Financial planning and reporting KPI reporting Business Partnering with with cross-functional finance and non-finance stakeholders - on a weekly and monthly basis - across all aspects of the business Leading the budgeting and forecasting process - revenue and cost side Working closely with the Australian HQ Financial Modelling (3 way financial statements) Variance analysis - actual vs budget/forecast etc. - with commentary Ad hoc analysis and initiatives - including M&A or IPO readiness Supporting any future M&A and system integrations as well Become a subject matter expert and provide actionable insights for senior management Systems: Workday Adaptive, NetSuite, Tableau, Excel Profile The successful Senior FPandA Analyst will: Have 3-5 years experience in a Finance or FPandA role Experience as a Senior FPandA Analyst in a technology or SaaS business (highly desirable) Strong financial modelling experience (3 way financial statements ideally) Experience having used an ERP system before Power BI experience (desirable, not essential) Experience and exposure to both the revenue and the cost side of finance Eager and willingness to learn and develop into the role Strong Excel skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Job Offer $140,000 - $160,000 FULL benefits package including 401(k) Match Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance- 85% of employee premiums are covered by the company, and 70% for your family premiums Employer-funded Short/Long-Term Disability, Life, and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance 20 Days of Paid Time Off (PTO) 11 Paid Holidays Matching Gift Program Monthly Internet Stipend for Remote Employees MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
