Job Title: Senior Accountant Contract Length: Approx. 6-9 months (through an integration project completion) Job Location: Lacon, IL Work Schedule: On-site initially (~60 days for training), then Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Compensation: $40-$50/hr. The individual will oversee accounting processes, supervise AP/AR activities, manage reconciliations, review transactions, and help ensure smooth financial operations during an extended integration project. Key Responsibilities • Oversee and review AP and AR processes from start to finish • Review customer invoicing prior to distribution • Review and approve vendor invoices • Perform and manage daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations • Support month-end accounting activities • Ensure accuracy of financial data and transactions • Supervise accounting workflows and external support resources • Serve as a hands-on contributor while providing accounting leadership • Partner closely with the Controller on operational and integration-related initiatives Requirements: - 3 yrs of Accounting experience - AR & AP experience Preferred: - Public accounting experience - Construction or manufacturing background - Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance Interested in hearing more?
