Room for career growth! Great team culture! Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Permanent Staff Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting Finance team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working on a variety of projects, and has a deep understanding of the construction and property accounting industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in job costing, project accounting, year-end close, GL, cash flow, financial statements, invoicing, Yardi, loan draws, and construction draws. Responsibilities: As our Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for: 1. Overseeing job costing and project accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial information. 2. Managing all aspects of construction and property accounting, including loan and construction draws. 3. Conducting year-end close procedures and preparing financial statements. 4. Handling cash flow management and forecasting to support business operations. 5. Processing and managing all invoices, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. 6. Utilizing Yardi accounting software for financial management and reporting. 7. Collaborating with various teams to develop budgets and financial plans for the company. 8. Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and legal requirements. 9. Identifying opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. 10. Assisting with other accounting projects as needed. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Staff Accountant position should possess the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or property accounting industry. 3. Extensive knowledge of job costing, construction accounting, property accounting, project accounting, year-end close, GL, cash flow, financial statements, invoicing, Yardi, loan draws, and construction draws. 4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. 5. Proficiency in using Yardi or similar accounting software. 6. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. 7. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 10. CPA certification is a plus.
