Great pay Great benefits Room for career growth/advancement Job Details Job Details: We are on the lookout for a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 5 years of experience to contribute to a growing organization's financial health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, financial statements, journal entries, and inventory management. Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills, including vlookups and Pivot Tables, are a must. As a Staff Accountant, you will work closely with the Senior Accountant and other team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all business transactions are recorded accurately and timely. 2. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and prepare financial statements. 3. Assist in the management of all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting. 4. Conduct regular ledger and bank reconciliations. 5. Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. 6. Analyze financial information and summarize financial status. 7. Assist with tax audits and tax returns. 8. Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls. 9. Liaise with the Senior Accountant to improve financial procedures. 10. Manage and maintain the company's inventory records. 11. Utilize SAP software for various accounting tasks and reporting. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Staff Accountant, Cost Accountant, or similar role in the Manufacturing industry. 3. Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations. 4. Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.) 5. Understanding of data analysis and forecasting. 6. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel - vlookups and Pivot Tables) and familiarity with SAP software. 7. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. 10.
