SUMMARY

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional to join our team. This role is responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including managing accounts payable, supporting accounts receivable, and assisting with financial reporting and month-end close processes. The position also plays a key role in generating operational reports, conducting financial analysis, and supporting forecasting and planning activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and eager to contribute to process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform accounts payable functions including verifying expenses, obtaining appropriate invoice approvals, and ensuring timely accurate data entry.
• Generates daily, weekly, monthly operational reports and creates additional reports when needed
• Assists with financial analysis, forecasts and planning process; makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies
• Assists with the month-end close and financial reporting process, prepares reconciliations, journal entries
• Provides back-up support to the Controller and other accounting personnel as needed
• Provides support for accounts receivable, including supporting cash collection activities as needed
• Oversee trade credit application and approval process

REQUIREMENTS & EDUCATION

• Detail-oriented individual with exceptional attention to detail, organization, and analytical processing abilities
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance is required.
• 3-5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Advanced expertise in Excel
