This role acts as a central point of contact for clients and internal teams, balancing technical expertise with leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of individual and business clients, serving as the primary contact for tax-related matters Review complex tax filings, including corporate, partnership, and individual returns Ensure all deliverables meet strict filing deadlines throughout the year Provide proactive tax planning strategies and communicate recommendations clearly Conduct research on nuanced tax issues and apply findings appropriately Stay informed on evolving tax regulations and ensure compliance across engagements Lead, mentor, and develop team members by reviewing work and offering actionable feedback Delegate tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously Oversee engagement budgets, billing, and workflow tracking Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements Support client retention and growth by identifying additional service opportunities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field CPA license preferred or in progress 5 years of experience in public accounting Strong experience with pass-through entities and individual taxation Technical Skills Familiarity with tax preparation and workflow management software Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities Core Competencies Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines Proven leadership and team development abilities Work Environment Hybrid schedule (generally 3 days in-office, 2 remote) Increased workload during peak tax seasons Ongoing collaboration with clients and internal teams Interested in hearing more?
