Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this incumbent will be responsible to support the cluster/ hospital finance in handling all or part of the following functions:

1.    Supervise post approval checking of Medical Fee Assistance cases.
2.    Issue memo or letter for enquiry and in response to patients’ enquiries, feedback and complaints.
3.    Follow up checking progress and prepare reports, statistics and analysis.
4.    Report to supervisor for operation issues and identify measures to enhance the efficiency.
5.    Support system development and system internal control.
6.    Communicate and liaise with internal and external departments or parties.
7.    Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements
1.  Possession of professional accounting qualification of a recognized professional accounting body (See Remarks item 3).
2.  Proficiency in computing / PC skills, e.g. Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word.
3.  Good command of written and spoken English.
4.  Self-motivated, strong analytical ability and good interpersonal skills.

Preferred Attributes/Exposure
1.  Good command of both written and spoken Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is preferred.
2.  Good knowledge of HA Financial Systems (e.g. ERP Oracle system, eAllowance, PBRC and BPS) will be an advantage.

2. The employment will be on temporary terms up to 1 year. Extension of employment will be considered subject to service needs, funding availability and job performance.

3.  Candidates with accounting qualification of a recognized professional body and minimum of 3 years of experience will start at HGPS 13. For candidates who are fresh university graduates or those with one or two years of relevant experience and are undertaking professional accounting examinations, they may be appointed within the pay range of HGPS 9 – 12.
