Description

We are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to join the team in the Perth CBD office. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, financial controls, and statutory requirements. The role supports effective cash flow management and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure invoices are approved in accordance with delegation of authority.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs.
  • Respond to supplier and internal queries regarding invoices and payments.
  • Investigate and resolve payment issues and disputes.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end reconciliation.
  • Assist with system upgrades, testing, and process documentation when required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience: 

  • Certificate IV, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable.
  • Proven experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.
  • Experience with accounting/ERP systems. Pronto experience desirable.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.
