• ​This job is a member of the Division Finance Team, within the Finance Division.
• ​Responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of a comprehensive strategic plan, tracks financial and productivity performance, and is involved with financial forecasting, development of capital plans, staffing analysis, cost reduction and revenue generation studies. This job will also help drive special projects which can assist leaders in the organizations to make key decisions.

What you'll do

• Ensures correctness of our financial statements, participating in monthly close procedures, records revenue in expense in appropriate period
• Works with division peers to develop and update outlook for remainder of year
• Develops financial reporting to enable understanding of business trends, opportunities, and risks 
• Identifies opportunities for financial and operational improvement and leads cross- departmental teams to initiate change 
• Provides ad hoc support to various Commercial, Operational, and Finance groups, often working as an internal consultant 
• Completes assorted industry competitive assessment projects, including financial and operational performance benchmarking of other airlines 
• Assists in development of presentation materials for Board of Director meetings 
• Maintains a positive relationship with internal customer groups in other divisions
   

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• ​Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• ​Proficient with Microsoft Excel and MS Access knowledge

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• ​Superior analytical skills with an understanding of discounted cash flow analysis, forecasting techniques and variance analysis
• Adaptability and flexibility in the use of analytical approaches pertaining to financial issues
• Excellent teamwork skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations
• Ability to accept ownership, responsibility and accountability of functional obligations
