We are looking for a skilled Law Firm Billing and Accounting Specialist to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. Responsibilities · Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department · Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records · Prepare bank deposits · Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database · Provide assistance and support to company personnel · Run monthly invoices and submit electronic billing when required · Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies · Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas · Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws Requirements · Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures · Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software · Experience with Orion a plus · Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports · Accuracy and attention to detail · Legal Industry experience · Aptitude for numbers · Well organized · Associate’s degree or relevant certification Benefits · 401(k) · Dental insurance · Health insurance · Life insurance · Paid time off · Vision insurance
