This individual will be responsible for managing valuation engagements, performing complex financial analyses, developing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical valuation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic valuation practice. Key Responsibilities Perform valuations of closely held businesses for a variety of purposes, including tax, financial reporting, transaction support, litigation support, and strategic planning Develop and review sophisticated financial models and valuation analyses Conduct industry, market, and economic research Analyze guideline public company and transaction data Prepare comprehensive valuation reports and supporting documentation Manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines and budget expectations Review the work of assigned staff and provide coaching and development Build and maintain strong client relationships Present valuation conclusions and findings to clients and internal stakeholders Assist with business development initiatives and practice growth opportunities Collaborate with professionals across tax, audit, accounting, and advisory service lines Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of business valuation, financial analysis, transaction advisory, or related experience Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Commitment to delivering high-quality client service Preferred CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst), ASA (Accredited Senior Appraiser), and/or ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation) designation Public accounting or valuation consulting experience Experience managing client engagements and mentoring staff Advanced knowledge of valuation methodologies and financial statement analysis Interested in hearing more?
