Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Reports to: Managing Director / Regional CFO
Direct Reports: Finance Team

Role Purpose

As a key executive, the CFO will lead the finance function to drive strategic planning, financial integrity, cost control, and business transformation. Acting as a business partner, the CFO ensures transparency across operations (marine, terminal, landside) to support growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    Lead financial planning and strategy to support long-term growth.

  • Financial Management:
    Oversee reporting, compliance, internal controls, and cash flow.

  • Operational Efficiency:
    Drive cost optimisation, automation, and performance tracking.

  • Governance & Compliance:
    Ensure regulatory compliance and strong risk management.

  • Systems & Data:
    Champion ERP (SAP preferred) and digital finance transformation.

  • Business Partnering:
    Support commercial teams with analysis and strategic insights.

  • Team Development:
    Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.

  • Stakeholder Support:
    Provide financial insight to management and the Board.

Profile

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA/ACCA preferred

  • Senior financial leadership experience, ideally in logistics or shipping

  • ERP expertise (SAP preferred)

  • Fluent in English; other languages a plus
