Role Description

Designation:  Credit officer

Grade: EB-1-Offcier/EB-2-Assistant Manager

Legal Entity: Equitas Small Finance Bank

Business Unit: Retail Banking

Division: Emerging Enterprise banking

Department:  Credit

Purpose of the role: 

 

  • The position has been created to enable clear focus on Credit Evaluation of Customers through verification of documents & personal discussion

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

 

  • Ensure proper credit evaluation of customers as per policy & process
  • Document verification to be carried out for the loan proposals
  • Support the branch team in achieving desired branch objective.
  • Manage & Maintain TAT for Loan disbursement.
  • To diligently appraise loan applications in line with credit policy of the organization.
  • Ensure Credit policies to build a good quality portfolio of the branch.
  • Ensure File is completed in all aspects before the Loan is Disbursed & Maintain records.
  • Completion of PDD on time for the Loan Disbursed 
  • Ensure Quality Portfolio of the branch is Maintained 
  • Appraise of CAM proposal of the customers who have applied Loan

 

 

 

 

Desired Experience:

  • Number of years of experience (02-05 Years)
  • Type of companies/sector worked for(Private commercial banks and large NBFCs)
  • Responsibilities managed in the previous organizations(Primarily Credit function. Past experience in credit & Collection  side of CV.)
  • Languages (Hindi/English/Local Language)
  • Computer/technical skills (Basic MSCIT Knowledge)

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Graduation: (BCOM/Any stream)
  • Post-graduation: (MBA would be an added advantage)
  • Professional Qualifications: If any would be an added advantage
  • Certifications: If any would be an added advantage
