About the Role
As our Support at Home Finance Partner, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our government-funded home care programs.
Working closely with operational leaders, finance professionals, and support teams, you'll help drive financial performance, optimise systems and processes, support compliance requirements, and provide valuable insights that support high-quality care delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing financial reconciliations and month-end processes
- Monitoring Support at Home client balances and funding streams
- Investigating and resolving financial variances
- Supporting claim submissions and funding reconciliations
- Analysing debtor performance and client contributions
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Providing financial support and guidance to operational teams
- Collaborating across Finance, Support at Home, Data & Systems, and Corporate Services teams
Skills And Experiences
About You
You are a proactive finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, solving complex problems, and turning data into meaningful insights.
You'll bring:
Essential
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance, management accounting, business partnering or financial analysis role
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and data analysis
- Strong reconciliation and variance analysis experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively while managing competing priorities
Highly Regarded
- Experience within aged care, healthcare, community services or not-for-profit organisations
- Understanding of Australian Aged Care funding models and reforms
- Knowledge of CHSP, Home Care Packages, Support at Home funding or similar programs
- Experience using Alii, HealthCloud, Power BI or similar systems
- Understanding of compliance requirements within a regulated environment
