Job Title : Business/Financial Analyst Location : Evansville, Indiana Duration : 6 months, potential to extend or convert Pay Range : $27/hr - $32/hr Must haves: Strong data analysis experience (business-focused; not strictly finance/accounting required) Advanced Excel skills (primary tool for analysis and reporting) Experience working with SAP, specifically pulling reports and analyzing data from SAP environments Ability to analyze project financials, including actual spend and cost tracking across work orders Familiarity with aggregating large datasets (e.g., project-level actuals) to support regulatory reporting and filings Experience scaling and maintaining reporting/analysis outputs in Excel sourced from system data 2-5 years of experience MINIMUM- no maximum years of experience as long as they are in budget Day to day: Analyze project financial data across a high volume of capital/engineering projects Primarily working with various groups in the department including engineering ,FP&A, property accounting, regulatory team, & capital delivery/operations Track and reconcile project costs to support regulatory filings and reporting requirements Volume of projects that they handle: looking at all costs about all projects Every 6 months they have two major filings and every year they have 1 major filing Manage and interpret cost data across thousands of projects and sub–work orders 2000 projects they file a year: sub work orders under these projects is roughly 175k Pull, query, and validate data from SAP, then transform it into Excel-based reporting Using analysis for office (AO) through Excel to pull reports from SAP Manage and interpret cost data across thousands of projects and sub–work orders Forecasting and projections The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.
