Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Financial Aid, this position manages daily office operations and oversees staff training and selected program responsibilities.

Job Duties:
Compliance, Processing, and Data Management
- Oversee and manage Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) processes and Federal Pell Grant Program.
- Monitor weekly aid disbursements for all federal and state financial aid programs.
- Run and analyze system queries to identify and resolve disbursement discrepancies.
- Generate and distribute weekly processing queries to ensure timely and accurate aid delivery.
Scholarship and Program Support
- Assist with the management and awarding of BCTC donor and foundation scholarships.
- Provide backup support for state aid programs, the Federal Direct Loan Program.
Office Operations & Supervision
- Manage the day to day operations of the Financial Aid Office.
- Work with BCTC faculty and staff along with KCTCS Systems Office when needed to facilitate the process of daily operations
- Supervise Financial Aid staff, including oversight of training, assignment of duties, and project coordination.
- Serve as the Financial Aid representative for BCTC regional campuses and services.
- Assist with planning and participating in Financial Aid outreach initiatives for the college.
- Serve as second in command for the Financial Aid Office in the absence of the Associate Dean of Financial Aid.
Professional Engagement & Additional Duties
- Participate in organizational development activities, including service on college committees and involvement in assigned initiatives.
- Attend financial aid conferences and training sessions to maintain current knowledge of regulations and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean of Financial Aid, the Associate Vice President for Access/Dean of Students, and the Provost.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of experience or equivalent
