Skill Set / Job Spec

Brief Job Description:

  • Excellent understanding of Insurance Finance and Accounting (Preferably Personal & Commercial Line) – 
  • Working knowledge of Cash Application, Collection, Billing, Reconciliation. (any 2 of them would work)
  • Understanding of Premium, Broker and Agency business 
  • Should be able to manage a team and coach them continuously to achieve business goal. 
  • To ensure complete operations management for end to end and handle any escalation w.r.t. any operational issue along with performing against all SLAs.
  • To ensure timely and accurate delivery of daily, monthly, and periodic processing of client requirements and interact with a client on a day-to-day basis responding to their requirements at a short notice by re-aligning priorities.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance.
  • Ability to identify inefficient/ineffective processes and develops recommendations to enhance controls and efficiency.

 

 

 

Competencies Required: 

  • Working knowledge of Cash Application, Collection, Billing, Reconciliation. (any 2 of them would work)
  • Responsible for Broker Relationship Management and dealing with underwriters, brokers, customers and answering any query they might have related to payments, commission or debt related.

 

  • Ensure to manage OPS delivery with process SLA's and client VOC.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Good working knowledge of complete MS Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook)
  • Assist management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts

 

        Skill Requirements: 

  • Qualifications: B. Com pass or B. Com Hons /M.com graduate/Any Finance Graduate 
  • Minimum 11 -15 years of experience in Accounts receivable/Finance and Accounting
  • Minimum 7+ years of Team management experience
