Location: One Porsche Drive Atlanta GA 30354 Status: Non-exempt Position overview This role provides general accounting support for the Zycus procure-to-pay system and leads parts accounting activities for Porsche Cars Canada (PCL). Responsibilities include reconciling assigned balance sheet accounts, supporting general accounting activities, preparing for and assisting with audits, and maintaining effective internal controls. The position requires an autonomous work style and a high level of accuracy to ensure these functions are completed efficiently and effectively. This role works closely with accounting management. Roles & responsibilities Maintain sub-ledgers supporting general ledger accounts, reconcile them to the general ledger, and provide monthly reconciliations to the Senior Accountant for review and approval. Prepare journal entries and control and reconcile assigned accounts. Oversee accounting activities related to PCL parts operations. Initiate, monitor, and audit changes in Zycus while supporting strong internal controls. Prepare internal and external IFRS financial reports and supporting schedules as needed. Create, document, and implement process controls across multiple legal entities, including identifying process efficiencies. Prepare audit workpapers and collaborate with auditors during the year-end examination. Perform periodic Zycus audits to ensure data integrity. Support the Food and Beverage Client Corporate Accounting team with Zycus and SAP inquiries. Support implementation of the new SAP S/4 system. Support accounting for the new North American Logistics Hub. Provide guidance and respond to Zycus-related questions. Maintain SAP and Zycus integration and diagnose root causes of errors as needed. Assist with requests from external auditors. Perform other duties as assigned. Support preparation of consolidated financial statements. Qualifications Required qualifications include: Bachelors Degree in Accounting is required 2-4 years accounting, financial analysis or in related area experience is required Extensive personal computer skills in Microsoft Office required including PowerPoint and excellence in Excel Strong analytical skills is required; excellent communication skills Commitment to excellence Must be proficient and proactive Preferred qualifications include: 3-5 years accounting, financial analysis or in related area experience is required CPA Preferred Balance Sheet reconciliation experience preferred Knowledge in SAP, and/or Zycus preferred Prior accounting experience with inventory Percentage of required travel: 5% Schedule/Shift: More than 40 hour work week may be required during high volume periods
