JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Strategic Investment & Business Development Manager who combines financial acumen with strategic foresight to support the growth and transformation initiatives of the MHI Group. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in investment planning, financial modeling, and M&A analysisnot a typical sales profile, but a strategic thinker with a strong analytical foundation.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Business Development to evaluate and execute investment opportunities, support M&A transactions, and develop strategic presentations that influence executive decision-making. This role also involves occasional travel and cross-functional collaboration across industries such as logistics, facilities management, catering, FMCG, and aviation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic & Financial Planning
- Develop and maintain financial models for investment planning, M&A analysis, and business case development.
- Conduct commercial and financial due diligence, market research, and competitive benchmarking.
- Prepare strategic presentations and reports for executive-level decision-making.
- Support pipeline management and execution of M&A deals from identification to closure.
Business Development
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities aligned with the groups long-term strategic goals.
- Assist in building business development plans, including profitability objectives and market focus.
- Promote MHIs integrated solutions to internal account management teams across operating companies.
- Coordinate with marketing and sales channels to communicate value propositions effectively.
Group-Level Strategic Support
- Provide insights and support across MHIs diverse industries.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of group-wide BD policies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with finance and executive teams to monitor performance and recommend strategic actions.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or Economics.
- 35 years of experience in business development, preferably in a multinational or global environment.
- Experience in corporate banking, investment banking, consulting, or project finance is an advantage.
- Industry experience in Corporate, Real Estate, Service Industries and Aviation, Logistics, preferred.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
